Breve resumen del proyecto: Este proyecto se enfoca en comprender los mecanismos moleculares de la colonización de vectores y la transmisión de las espiroquetas del grupo de las fiebres recurrentes (Borrelia recurrentis s.l.) transmitidas por garrapatas. También estudiamos su ecología para comprender la distribución y el mantenimiento del patógeno y del vector.
